Among the many books on our list, Hope Relentless: A True Story of WWII and Survival is the one that has us most intrigued. The premise of the book is that one man survived six prison camps and several other tense situations. The book is an honest to goodness story, and has been thoroughly researched. It even contains official WWII operations reports.
What year is the hardest for marriage?
The book is not without its stumbling blocks. Chet Britt’s wife was evacuated from the Philippines during World War II, leaving him to fend for himself. He was also forced to endure extreme thirst and terror on the Bataan Death March. For a man of his caliber, surviving the war was no easy feat. Thankfully, the Britt-Burr clan managed to survive. This is the reason why the book is a must read for anyone with an interest in history, World War II, or the military.
While Relentless Hope is not a light weight, the duo behind the name have a lot of success ahead of them. Their first album was a major hit, and their recent music video has earned them a fair share of buzz in the hip hop world. Their second album is slated to be released in the coming months. They’ve also recently launched their own podcast, Why Marriage?, which they claim is a tad more clever than its name suggests. They also have a community called Team Relentless Hope, made up of healthcare professionals and cancer survivors.
